Everyday that passes, the closer Angela Lansbury approaches the grave Ethel Merman. Seeing this icon on stage would change my life and I have the opportunity to do so in A Little Night Music. I can not go at the moment, so this is me putting it out into the universe, hoping that she will keep kicking until I show up for a Matinee. She should be in bed by 7:00pm anyway, so I feel that a matinee would be a better performance in the day. We lost Bea last year and I can only imagine her bosom buddie’s thoughts of “I am as old as time” or “Off to the cupboard with me now?”.

Today was the first day I reunited with the pumpkin spice latte. A drink that only comes when fall does. As I sip, I wonder when it will be appropriate to don a scarf. Though the taste of fall is here, the weather is not. Let us hope for a drastic change in this weather because I am ready for autumn and all its splendor!
